On behalf of Kensworth Village Hall management team I'd like to thank everyone who came to our Summer Fair yesterday. The weather started off terribly with lashing rain and wind which impacted our setup. However, the rain eventually subsided, the sun came out and we were delighted with the turnout under the circumstances. So a big THANK YOU to all of you who came along, ate the cakes & burgers, drank the coffee & beer, showed their dogs and splatted the rat. Huge thanks to the stallholders who kept the faith and waited for the weather to improve (despite the destruction of at least 5 gazebos), you were magnificent! KVH team and helpers, what can I say? It was a challenge and you met it with gritted teeth and a smile. Well done Kensworth!
